Bardonecchia, 1300 m, has been one of the historical ski resorts since 1909, when the first Italian Ski Championship was organized, but also modern ski resort, venue of all snowboard races of Turin 2006 Winter Olympic Games. Bardonecchia is ideal for snowboarders thanks to its Olympic halfpipe and excellent snowpark, as well as its top-level snowboard instructors, some ex-athletes and trainers of the National team.
We offer one week in a flat situated directly on the slopes and a “full immersion” snowboard course. At the end of the course you will have the opportunity to watch the World Cup athletes in the slopestyle competitions on 5th February and halfpipe competitions on 7th February.
The course consists of 3 hours of snowboard lessons a day from Monday to Friday, with the lessons filmed and put on a DVD given as present at the end of the course; closing party with live music for all the participants and dinner in a mountain refuge (to be paid there).
RocktheSpot will be back in Bardonecchia on 14th February 2009, with international bands and night snowboard races.
Fee: 490 € per person per week (euro 20 extra for the 2nd week)
