Exposition of the Shroud
The event due to take place in Turin between 10th April and 23rd May 2010 is beginning to take shape. Work is under way to plan the route that will be taken by pilgrims to reach the Cathedral. Reception facilities and posts for checking bookings will be set up in the Royal Gardens near the Rondò Rivella (crossroads of Corso Regina Margherita, Corso San Maurizio and Corso Regio Parco). As in 1998 and in 2000, there will be just one entrance. If pilgrims have not already booked, they will be able, subject to availability, to obtain an on-the-spot booking in Piazza Castello. In addition to the main visit, visitors can also embark on other interesting spiritual itineraries associated with sites of religious importance in Piedmont – places steeped in history, art and faith, including the Sacred Mountains and a host of churches, abbeys and museums.
