30th December: CUNEO the town of the World Men

Arrival in the early afternoon and accommodation in hotel.
Visit to the town of Cuneo with the guide: capital of the” Granda” province, it stands in a lovely location on a plateau between the alps and the gentle Langa hills. Walk in the old centre of the town characterized by a medieval setting and stop into the suggestive central square Piazza Galimberti, considered one of the most beautiful square in Italy. The latter opens from one hand to the old town and from the other hand to the superb peaks of the Sea Alps.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

31st December: RACCONIGI CASTLE - SALUZZO

Breakfast in hotel. In the morning departure for Racconigi for the guided visit to the castle, the last summer residence of the king of Italy of medieval origins. The palace was reshaped from the late XVII c. by the most important architects such as Guarino Guarini, G. Battista Borra e Pelagio Palagi. Visiting the opulent spaces of the noble floor and the more intimate rooms of the second floor, we can observe the evolution of the artistic tastes and lifestyle of the piedmonts’ nobility over 250 years.
Free time for lunch.
In the afternoon visit to the historical centre of Saluzzo, one of the most fascinating medieval centre in Piedmont with nobler buildings, as Casa Cavassa, its important religious buildings like St. John. Free time for shopping.
H. 20,30 “GREAT NEW YEAR’S EVE” with rich Piemontese menu, music, dances, champagne and fun until dawn. Overnight stay in hotel.

1st January: THE LANGA HILLS - the streets of wines

Breakfast in hotel and check-out. In the late morning panoramic tour with guide of Langhe.
Stop in Barolo, feature village of Langhe that gives its name to the famous wine and La Morra, a picturesque village situated on a hill 512 m a.s.l. The village of medieval origin, maintains its original fan disposition that sees the houses spreading along the sunny hillside.
Stop to a cave for a wine tasting. Goodbye-lunch based on typical local dishes with local wines.
